RDAA develops policy positions on issues important to rural doctors. Special efforts are required to redress the inequities in health outcomes that exist for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
Each year the Rural Doctors Association of Australia recognises the achievements and commitment of rural doctors, registrars and medical students working in rural and remote health.
Ensuring rural doctors are well supported and cared for while they care for others, is core to the service RDAA provides. RDAA Member Assistance Support - through Access EAP.
