This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Rural Doctors Association movement.
This date is taken from 1987, the first year of the NSW Rural Doctors’ Dispute and the genesis of the state Rural Doctors Associations and RDAA itself.
During 2012, RDAA will be celebrating this milestone year for the rural doctors movement, rural towns and rural health. We also want to make the year a celebration of rural practice. We’ll be joined in our celebrations by the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM), which is celebrating its 15th birthday.
We’ll keep you updated on key events and happenings badged to coincide with these significant dates, and encourage you to get involved. Please stay tuned.
