Coalition’s $100M rural health commitment a welcome Easter offering

RDAA has welcomed today’s Coalition announcement of an additional $100 million earmarked for rural healthcare, saying funding commitments specifically targeted to improve access to healthcare in rural and remote Australia are greatly needed. The additional funding will be used to create an extra 200 Commonwealth Supported Places (CSPs) for medical students (guaranteed for the regions) and to upgrade regional medical training facilities.
